週期本身是能夠表達一個結構物運動基本行為的重要資訊,就像人的個性,需要先知道週期,才會了解結構物受外力作用後的表現,當我們要做很複雜的結構動力分析之前,最根本的就是要找出週期。如果同學進行了完整的實驗探索,就會很清楚知道你們量測的結果沒有很接近理論公式。我覺得這是一個很好的學習經驗,如果你發現結果與理論有誤差,就要去思考它的原因,讓結果更合理。實驗上本身非常不容易,因為有非常多的地方會造成誤差,其實我們沒有要求同學做出來的結果要跟理論公式一樣,同學還是很努力地找出了它的趨勢,我覺得這已經達到我們的期望。整體而言大家都掌握了比賽的精神,雖然主軸是結構安全,美觀的部分同學們也盡其所能的依你們的建築模型做非常多的詮釋,實驗上也達到我們的期待,非常不容易,也非常了不起。

Before we do a very complex structural dynamic analysis, the most fundamental thing is to find the period. If the you have conducted a complete experimental exploration, you will know very well that the results of your measurements are not very close to the theoretical formula. I think this is a good learning experience, if you find that the results are inconsistent with the theory, you have to think about the reasons for it and make the results more reasonable. It is not easy, because there are many parts that could cause errors. In fact, we did not require the results of the students to be the same as the theoretical formulas. The students still worked hard to find its trend. I think this has reached our goal. On the whole, everyone has mastered the spirit of the competition. Although it is mainly about structural safety, the students also tried their best to interpret the aesthetic part according to your structural model, and the experiment also met our expectations. Very outstanding and very remarkable.
